The Return to Chicago! Lombard, Here we Come!

We will be traveling back to the Chicago area July 12-20th. Please pray for us during these nine days as we spend time with the church board, the members, and become more acquainted with the community and the IL District Council of the AG. On this trip, we will receive the vote of the congregation. We are so excited about this transition, and we are grateful for the support of all of you!

Whitsitt Family Fun Day 2008!

Jason and I just returned from the annual Whitsitt Family Fun Day celebration in Kansas City. We had a great weekend of swimming, backyard ball games, fireworks, and barbeque. Long live WFFD!

While, like a true "grown-up," I cut my hair! Jason LOVES it. (whew!)

Chicago

Jason and I took a weekend trip to Chicago at the beginning of this month to interview with a church there. We have decided to remove ourselves from candidacy with this church. While we decided that this wasn't the church for us, we had a great time exploring the city and the lakefront. We will be visiting another church there in a couple of weeks, and can't wait to go back! We are excited about what God is doing, and fully trust His leading!
